Prior to assuming your duties, you will benefit from a process that first welcomes you into the Group and then integrates you into your department. This will familiarise you with your new professional environment and will give you some useful information regarding your life and development within the company.

The process consists of :

 

 
A "Welcome me to the Group" day  
 

This will take place at company headquarters in Laval and you will receive information on :

 
 

the dairy process and the history of the Lactalis Group. This will include a guided visit to the Lactopole

the company's main operations and organisation through interactive presentations given by key managers with a great deal of experience in their respective fields.

our Human Resource Management Policy. Managers will describe their own career paths within the company and there will be discussions with some of our HR colleagues on the Group's main career management principles.

benefits. There will be detailed presentations on the features and advantages of your employment contract such as wages, holidays, health insurance and bonuses.

the people within the company. Throughout the day, and particularly during the dinner that will mark the end of your first day with the Group, this contact with colleagues from completely different posts will provide you with the opportunity to discuss your experiences and future plans.

 
 

A period of integration

 
 

Your supervised period of professional integration can last as long as several weeks and will mainly take place in your place of work.

You will discover the various aspects of your job, follow training courses and be supported (through tutoring etc), in order for you to be progressively eased into the full assumption of your duties in the best possible manner.
